Shipping & Exchange Policy – House of Funny Bones


1. Brand Philosophy

House of Funny Bones operates as a limited-production, made-to-order luxury label. Each piece is crafted with intention and processed exclusively for the customer upon order confirmation.

Accordingly, all purchases are subject to the terms outlined below.


SHIPPING POLICY


2. Domestic Shipping (India)

  • Complimentary shipping is offered on prepaid orders above ₹5,000 within India.

  • Orders below ₹5,000 will attract a standard shipping fee calculated at checkout.

  • All orders are dispatched from our studio in Surat, India.

Processing & Delivery Timelines

As most garments are made-to-order:

  • Express Delivery: 5-7 business days (production + dispatch)

  • Standard Delivery: 7–10 business days minimum

  • Select couture or limited-edition styles may require up to 30 days

Timelines displayed on individual product pages prevail.

Delivery timelines are estimates and not contractual guarantees.

House of Funny Bones shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier partners

  • Weather disruptions

  • Customs processing

  • Government restrictions

  • Political or logistical disturbances

  • Force majeure events


3. International Shipping

  • International shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

  • Orders are shipped from Surat, India.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes

International shipments may attract customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or clearance fees imposed by the destination country.

  • These charges are determined solely by local authorities.

  • The recipient is entirely responsible for payment.

  • House of Funny Bones has no control over these charges and cannot estimate them.

Failure to accept or settle customs charges will result in:

  • Non-delivery or return of shipment

  • No refund eligibility

  • No store credit issuance

We do not assume responsibility for international shipment delays due to customs clearance.


4. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details.

  • Address modifications are permitted only before dispatch.

  • Once dispatched, no changes can be made.

Re-dispatch due to incorrect or incomplete address information will incur additional shipping charges.


5. Delivery Attempts

Courier partners will attempt delivery up to three times.

If unsuccessful:

  • The order will be returned to our studio.

  • Re-dispatch will be chargeable.

  • No refunds will be issued for failed delivery due to customer unavailability.


EXCHANGE POLICY (STRICT – NO RETURNS)


6. No Returns Policy

All purchases are final.

House of Funny Bones does not offer monetary refunds under any circumstances except in cases where the order cannot be fulfilled by us.


7. Exchange Eligibility (Within 7 Working Days Only)

We offer exchange strictly under the following conditions:

  • Exchange request must be raised within 7 working days of delivery.

  • Item must be unused, unworn, unwashed.

  • Original tags, packaging, and labels must remain intact.

  • No signs of wear, perfume, deodorant, stains, alterations, or damage.

  • Item must not be customized, altered, or made-to-measure.

Failure to meet these conditions will result in rejection of the exchange request.

Final approval is subject to internal quality inspection at our studio.

Our decision post-inspection shall be final and binding.


8. Store Credit Only

Approved exchanges will be processed exclusively as Store Credit.

  • No cash refunds.

  • No reversal to original payment method.

  • No bank transfers.

Store Credit:

  • Will be issued after successful inspection.

  • Is non-transferable.

  • Is non-redeemable for cash.

  • Must be used within [Insert validity period – recommended 3 or 6 months].

  • Cannot be extended beyond validity.

If the new product selected exceeds the credit value, the difference must be paid.

If lower, the remaining balance remains as store credit.


9. Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the rare event of:

  • A manufacturing defect

  • A damaged shipment

  • An incorrect product delivered

You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Full unboxing video (continuous, unedited)

  • Clear photographs of product and packaging

Failure to provide video proof may result in rejection of the claim.

After verification, we will arrange reverse pickup and resolution.


10. Order Cancellation

As all pieces are made-to-order:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

  • Cancellation requests before processing are subject to management approval.

  • Payment gateway charges may be deducted from approved cancellations.


11. Out-of-Stock Scenario

If a product becomes unavailable after order confirmation:

  • The order will be cancelled.

  • A full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

This is the only circumstance under which monetary refunds are processed.


12. Abuse of Policy

House of Funny Bones reserves the right to:

  • Refuse exchanges for repeated misuse

  • Block accounts suspected of fraudulent activity

  • Deny service at discretion


13. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India.

All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in [Insert City – Surat recommended].
